    The system is broken by design. Notice-and-notice is much saner than notice-and-takedown, but would have given the big media mills the vapours.

    If a company can repeatedly submit the same DMCA notice with no explanation or evidence, taking projects down for months at a time, the system is broken. It prevents users from discovering or updating Luanti, and risks users settling for shady or ad-ridden forks instead.

    That’s why we have to get off of apps and OSs controlled by and for corporations.

    This is like being mad at the scorpion on the frog.
