Szilvia Berki was unable to even go to the police to report her sexual assault unless she herself wanted to end up in jail.

Brand and his than partner Jemima Goldsmith claimed she caused them anxiety and distress.

She never went to a full trial - only a summary judgment, never had a lawyer, never got to defend herself and was silenced for life

the Court of Appeal allowed the appeal on every ground raised, including the ground that Jay had been so overbearing, rude, and bullying to the claimant (whose first language was not English but Polish, and who was acting without legal help), that the trial had been unfair.

      Cool guy.

It’s crazy to me how some people can tell a person is a massive piece of shit from 20 miles away, but others can’t, or just don’t care to (which says a lot about them). Brand has given me bad vibes from the moment I even saw his face years ago. I knew it was only a matter of time before we found out he was a gross parasite.

The one thing I didn’t have on my bingo card was him trying to hide behind Christian nationalism like a fucking loser.

How any judge could pass this and be able to sleep at night is beyond me.

    —-

Edit: This one seems to be hurting some people’s feelings. It’s funny watching folks tell on themselves. Cope and seethe.

It will forever be in my memory how I told a girl “your brother looks like he plays CS2, football, and is either in the police or military” and she laughed histerically, because apparently I nailed all FOUR

Hell yeah, intuition! People seem to think it’s being judgmental or making assumptions, but it’s not. I’ve always been quiet and observant. This is the byproduct of that. I read body language, things they say, etc.

      I knew

I mean, no, you didn’t. You got bad vibes from someone who is shitty. You probably have gotten bad vibes from people who aren’t due to any number of factors.

It’s true, especially of America. YouTube streamers like Asmongold, for example. That dude has a massive following and he’s one of the worst people I’ve ever seen. He digs his heels in and refuses to apologize for absolutely terrible takes, like saying that Palestinians are an inferior culture, and making jokes about women being in the kitchen.

It’s like the further away from reality these people float, the more disconnected and crass their opinions get. It all reeks of unhappiness and insecurity.

im sure you are wrong about many many more people that you’ll never admit too.

how about just shut the fuck up with stereotyping unless you yourself want to be stereotyped?

im pre empting your reply with a block.

Thank you for the example of the double standard.

This document refers to the order, but it doesn’t say what the order is. It would be interesting to know that as well.

Well i guess thats where my streak of seeing only good hungary related news ends. Berki Szilvia is definitely a hungarian name. I dont even understand how this is possible. At this point a “backwards eastern european” country like hungary is better for women than most of the uk. Things like these were exactly what led to change in government, cuase people protested the corrupt officials enabling acts like this.

Hungary has little to do with this, this didn’t happen in the Hungarian court system.

No all im saying is that theres a lot of racism towards eastern europe about how backwards we are from a country that handles human rights worse than us.

The article said she eventually did get a pro-bono lawyer.

And also that the assault remains “alleged”.
