While UK cats are estimated to kill up to 300 million prey a year (mostly small mammals and birds) there’s no clear evidence that this causes a decline in wild populations.

Dogs, meanwhile, disturb wildlife, pollute waterways and contribute to carbon emissions. A medium sized dog has the same carbon footprint as a large SUV.

It’s not very reliable. We have a restaurant near us that has been closed for years. Google says it’s closed, TripAdvisor says it’s open.
