You can jailbreak it then and install linux. There was a major exploit a few days ago that broke all ps5s up to that point.

Don’t let it connect to the internet. I’m not familiar with the process of jailbreaking PS5’s, but I wouldn’t be surprised if an automatically installing security patch borks it
Yeah, thats why i havent booted it in many moons; always needs to be old firmware to work, and i wanted to be ready for the next go. When i hear of an exploit thats likely to work, ill prep, and then just disable my router until its fixed up.
It’s not that unlike early android flashing, idk what the scene is like now but always a matter of being outdated. Except its a lot easier now to have a backup search device for troubleshooting
I want to hack my ps3 similarly. I hear that one is really good and easy to do simce the sustem was made to support stuff other than the firmware. Just haven’t been motivated.
