Call it whatever you want, but i highly welcome every refreshing setting. Like Japan. Or scifi (cyberpunk) or… Everything but the run-of-the-mill high-fantasy orcs and elves.
I 100%ed it and had a blast. But you don’t have to 100% a game if you don’t have fun anymore. You can easily just finish up the story and be happy with what you got.
I think this is more a fault on the person playing the game than the game itself. If it was any less expansive then I’m sure there would be people wishing there was more to do in the game they like.
It’s a 10/10 for me. It’s extremely rare for me to finish a game, and it’s the first game I’ve ever 100%.
I had an absolute blast with it for about 15-20 hours earlier this year and then it started getting super repetitive. Ended up dropping it for a new release.
Great villain, though. I’ll probably go back to it just to see how the story plays out.
The combat is actually pretty good, the graphics and style is amazing. The story is a bit on the meh side. Overall, I think this game is worth it at a discount. I think I bought it for something like 20€ on a disc with the DLC and am planning to resell it at some point.
If there’s one thing that got me tired of it, it’s that it’s much cheaper from a game design standpoint when all opponents are killed, any unique characters you’re meant to save are already dead (don’t have to animate them) and all gameplay is combat.
It makes the game a bit depressing sometimes when it’s a lot of missions around arriving too late and mourning the dead.
Yeah but to be fair it is a great game. 100% it and that’s that. Maybe in a couple of year ill play again.
Yes. Very fun. Generally well designed. Combat mechanism are tight. But it feels like you’re in act 2 for fuckin ever. Then you get to act 3 and basically have to do it all again. Then finally, mercifully, its over. If they just cut the map in half it would have probably completely solved the problem.
7/10, will play again.
It’s very good. Whether it outstays its welcome depends on the individual. If you just beeline the main story it’s not all that long, but if you play it as intended it’s quite a long ride.
I don’t regret playing it at all, fwiw
The game was a blast all the way through.
Personally I loved it from start to finish and everywhere between
Played on PS4 Pro. I really loved the theme and the visuals. The combat was quite nice too. But, I also remember it got very grindy to me.
I totally regret buying it. Didn’t realize it was multiplayer.
I was actually pretty upset that they set up this beautiful narrative and symbolic growing storm/kamikaze coming in to sink the Mongol fleet as you accept that you must dishonor your code to defeat the invaders and then didn’t fucking do that.
Like, okay, you are the kamikaze or whatever, but still. Duel in a lightning storm where?
Pretty subjective. I understand that some people get burnt out on the open world activities, but for me it’s one of the very few games I 100%'d and it never got old for me.
