I’m against the current iteration of the buzzword that involves a bunch of wasted money being dumped into something that also generates a ton of energy use to get things somewhat correct rather than having it go towards actual needs we have affecting humanity.

Isn’t the issue that he was living and working in Washington but still had an Arizona license? Most states require you to get that changed over within 6-12 months of moving there.

“Outperforming” here means extracting as much wealth as possible and consolidating it in the hands of a few. All the while being an absolute detriment to the health of the environment and people it uses to extract said wealth.

Usually, you need a 10:1 ratio or so of hens to roosters, otherwise they start fighting a bunch. So maybe the person just has 30 hens laying about 🙃

I read this as “counterfeit Costco gear” and the only thing* I can think is that they’ll at least have plenty of giant bags of chips
My wife and I recently moved to a smaller town in the Northeast from Colorado. It’s been an adjustment, but honestly I’ve found some wonderful communities here supporting each other much more than I had out West.
This isn’t to say that it’s a hellhole out there. It’s more that I wasn’t expecting to find it here, which gave me a bit of a recheck to my thoughts on the state of things.
It also isn’t perfect, but I’m not letting that bring down the hope it brought me.
Now back to being jaded 🙃
