Recently bought a thermometer/hygrometer. It said the external sensor is calibrated for -40 to 60°C (values might be a bit off but in that ballpark) while the internal one is calibrated for -20 to 100 (again might be a bit off).
There was a 1 star review of someone using it in his sauna (so around 100°C) and seeing a big discrepancy between data from the two sensors so “it clearly can’t be very accurate”.
They do, but HIV infections can take a while to turn up positive while already being transmittable.
27, slept wrong once and couldn’t get up without supporting my head with my hand. Didn’t fully go away for 4 days. I’m scared of this happening again lol
Think of an alternative scenario, not transportation but rather duplication. The original stays where it was, but a copy gets created elsewhere. To the copy, it will seem as if it got transported there. To the original, nothing will have happened.
Now you kill the original.
The only difference is the timing of ending the original.
If you want to hate them more, there were cases of wikis moving off the site and fandom just deciding to restore the content after the maintainers deleted it, claiming everything written on the site is their property. Absolute shithole and I refuse to use it if there are alternatives.
Afaik GPL 2 would be stopping google from making android closed source anyway, unless I got something wrong about the license terms. But if anything that supports your argument. The main reason google is generally supportive of open source is that they recognize that they benefit from it. The moment that changes, google will try their best to close off anything it can (granted I don’t think it’s that likely to change, but they’re already abusing their position plenty).
That’s what the first sentence in the image says too
People buy cosmetics because they think they look cool and want to support the game they like. In WoWs, some premium ships are honestly hella fun in unique ways (while others are dumb op but of course some ppl pay for that too). In gachas it’s a mix of just wanting the character and gameplay advantages.
Personally the stuff I don’t get is spending money on the mentioned match 3 games, farm sims, and casual mobile games in general. Which are a huge market as mobile gaming is, for whatever reason I cannot comprehend, the largest gaming market in terms of revenue.
Gatekeeping really is not either of these things, but people can wear whatever they like. I can’t say I get why someone would do it at all, but not my problem.
There’s a huge difference between using it as a conversation starter and asking about their favorite songs or whatever, since it’s reasonable to assume they know and like the band, and going “name 3 songs” because you assume they don’t listen to the band and also somehow care about that.
For one, they’re not weebs they’re just anime otaku, but also that is only a subset of anime and it’s mostly just a judgemental stereotype. They have ads on the subway for birthday events for popular anime characters ffs. Many pachinko machines are anime themed, including after late night anime which are the negatively stereotyped ones. You know who doesn’t have enough money to be a profitable target for gambling establishments? People with no job living in a basement.
And that’s all while ignoring that pretty much no one chooses that life style voluntarily and I see no reason to make fun of these people.
Ive only played like 4 hours yesterday (not like it’s been out for very long), but I guess for just seeing if it’s worth trying that works.
I think the strongest point is definitely the style it has going on - it knows what it’s trying to do and the UI and art style work together to convey that. It’s similar to Persona 5 in that way, and imo if P5 is a 10/10 execution of this, ZZZ is at least a 9/10.
I haven’t watched the trailer but the characters are certainly quite goofy, so what you said about it going for more comedy seems accurate. I didn’t have any actual laugh out loud moments though, it’s more of a generally amusing athmosphere they’re going for. The dystopian setting isn’t ignored but the overall vibes are definitely more on the fun than the depressing side.
Combat has been fun so far, both perfect dodging and a form of blocking (by swapping characters when the enemy attacks) exist and are rewarded by the game. The blocking in particular feels really good imo. The stylishness of it all makes it enjoyable even though it’s not hard (at least so far, there will probably be harder content at some point since that’s how gachas usually work).
So far I like it a lot, in many places it feels like a lot of passion went into it (though I feel similarly about all the mihoyo games I’ve played) in spite of it being a gacha. If you like the aesthetics I think you’ll at least have a good time for a while and can judge the rest for yourself.
China has an active genocide going on, recently effectively annexed Hong Kong, and is threatening Taiwan. They’re also a dictatorship, while the US at least has some semblance of democracy. A country like that exerting their power over the world unchecked seems in no way better. Probably not really worse than the US either, at least whenever there’s a republican president.
It’s more that those things likely never crossed anyones mind during development. A lot of everyday things you just assume are the way they are where you live everywhere, until you see they aren’t. And even being aware of that you are always going to miss things.
I doubt this had any actual influence on which studio ended up working on the game, but it is a nice side effect.
Achievements or multiplayer matching not being implemented in the game itself isn’t on GOG. They still allow you to download and launch any game you’ve bought, without even requiring galaxy.
Also lesser known is the fact that there are DRM-free games on steam. Download them once, you can play without having steam running or even installed. Using a client to download isn’t inherently DRM either.
If the food has longer shelf life, stores can keep the same amount of stock as now and sell everything before it goes bad.
Of course, the easy way would be for stores to not stock as much of food that is likely to go bad before all of it is sold, but then they make less money and also customers would cry that they sometimes can’t get everything they want.
The second highest voted thing is mildly misleading because left parties are a lot more fractured, especially in EU elections. The afd could have 11% while 9 left wing partirs have 9.8% and be the most voted party, but that would be a better result than we have now with it being the second most voted.
The results are bad, but 16% is at least nowhere nesr a majority. I’m honestly more concerned about the CDU moving closer to the afd and still ending up with 30%, seems almost like many people don’t like the afd because they’ve been told afd bad, but still agree with much of their ideology.
I think germany could have gone worse, and people are quick to see that the AfD has the second most votes and cry disaster, but reality is that left wing votes are just split between more parties. Overall “cdu and further right” seems to bd about evenly split with “left of cdu”.
But still, compared to both the previous EU election and the most recent national election, it got quite a bit worse. CDU and AfD combined were at 36% in the last national election, they’re up by about 5% each, and that while the CDU has been getting closer to the AfDs position in recent years.
Too many is still better than too few, and it’s not close. Useless comments make parsing a bit harder. Missing comments can mean hours of research.
