I’ve heard that Reddit is trying to kill that too so people will use their godawful search feature instead. I got a prompt from the site to take a survey about it sometimes last month and that’s what people were theorizing that it was about.
I’ve been listening to music from the 60s almost exclusively on spotify this year. The algorithm is hell bent on me listening to the band “The Smoke”. I really don’t think a one hit wonder band that broke up in 1976 would be paying to have their music pushed so hard like that.
Why the fuck does that petition site even have a “Zip/Postal Code” box when it doesn’t seem to allow postal codes?
I always remember, when I see Martin Scorsese throw shade at Disney in an interview, that when he made Kundun, the CCP didn’t like it and made Disney restrict distribution of the film. Michael Eisner literally hired Henry Kissinger to do damage control afterwards.
I tried to watch a stream uploaded on YouTube and they put adrolls every 5 minutes, for a 3+ hour video. It was unwatchable. Sucks that pretty much every site is fucking over its users lately. Maybe it’s a sign I should just get away from the internet for a while.
I believe they’re implying that those jokes are actually a perfect metaphor for what the writers are striking about.
I’m starting to wonder what the fuck is going on at Hulu’s writing offices because Solar Opposites is also filled with jokes about Hulu.
