This guy and another one I want to post about today are the least owl-like owls I’ve come across.

I’ve been amazed by this one since the first time I’ve seen it, which surprises me, given it took me a while to get used to the Tyto owls, aka the Barn Owls.

It is definitely in my top owls, there’s just nothing else like it, and I’m glad to see the positive response to it finally. I’ve posted it a few times before and it was not the sensation I felt it should be.
