Making of / behind the meme: a couple weeks ago I had to do some yardwork so, being a loyal citizen of !gothindustrial@lemmy.world , I put on some aggrotech (which is basically harsh electro industrial) and I was swinging around my sickle and saying things like “DIE BEFORE THE BLADE OF THE REAPER” and it reminded me of a scene from the comic “MaryDeath” and so I made a meme about it: https://piefed.social/c/gothindustrial@lemmy.world/p/2169450/mow-em-down-meme Then like a week later I had to do some more yardwork but I wasn’t really feeling like more aggrotech bc it’s kinda machinelike and I wanted something more, idk, fast and metal. So naturally my mind turned to Slayer. So I cued up Reign in Blood, South of Heaven, and Seasons in the Abyss and went for it. Many plants died that day. And thus the meme was born anew.
Hahaha yeahh, so relatable. Usually go with Slayer or Death Angel.

Just bragging, but I was cycling listening to Lamb of God, remembered how good they are, checked the concerts, and found out they are in my city in 2 weeks!
Cycling with Lamb of God does resemble gardening with SlayerWhat can the harvest hope for, if not the care of the reaper man?
