minus-squarebreadsmasher@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up16arrow-down8·1 month agoill try again. heres a cooked-rare steak. you can even go to blue, which is less cooked than rare.
minus-squarebreadsmasher@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up10arrow-down13·1 month agoA cow and a cooked steak are the same? why are you trying to eat a live cow?
minus-squareCodpiece@feddit.uklinkfedilinkarrow-up27arrow-down6·1 month agoIt’s not cooked. You’ve just burnt the outside a bit. Inside it’s still mooing.
minus-squarebreadsmasher@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up9arrow-down14·edit-21 month agoOk, no point talking to someone who doesnt seem to understand basic cooking. apparently talking about cooking steak makes people seeth.
minus-squarehalcyoncmdr@piefed.sociallinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up16arrow-down2·1 month agoOh you misunderstand. We all know basic cooking. They’re indirectly telling you that you’re wrong and you just aren’t getting it. There are zero cuts on a cow that should be cooked less than medium rare.
minus-squaredaannii@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·1 month agoTechnically you can eat beef raw. With minimum risk. I knew of two women who told me they craved raw hamburger while pregnant. Yeah it’s not recommended but it’s not like chicken salmonella or pork that’s generally full of parasites.
minus-squareAlbbi@piefed.calinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up13arrow-down3·1 month agoFrom your link: The United States Department of Agriculture has stated that rare steaks are unsafe to eat.

minus-squaresudoMakeUser@sh.itjust.workslinkfedilinkarrow-up6·1 month agoI agree. Any beef or animals raised in the US are unsafe to eat.
