I get why there was a niche for Bluesky after X was purchased by a Nazi, but the Twitter UI/community/content was always trash to begin with. It wasn’t worth replacing. It’s the TikTok of text-based social media.
I have an account but I forgot the password and I used a throw away, so I can’t get it back. The problem with blusky it didn’t advertise itself very well, not many people even know it exists simular to Lemmy.
Bluesky died pretty fast. They gave up. I have an account there but at this point is more out of spite

I should clarify. It’s not dead as in empty, it’s dead as in the feel for the whole thing changed to corporate BS.
It was VC funded and built by the same guy who built Twitter, what you expect?
I expected him to do this the easy way and win by being something users could flee to.
