Yeah I’m on Voyager right now myself and it was one of the first things I changed for links because I see no reason to advertise my freaking app to everyone.
It shouldn’t ever do that pasting into the app. Maybe @FuyuhikoDate@feddit.org is on an old version of Voyager?
If you ever see a vger.to link get pasted into a comment you’re composing on Voyager lmk. It should always be stripped out. If it isn’t, there is a bug.
Why the duck does this link me to an ad page for voyager instead of the actual community? Is that the default for voyager?
Thats highly annoying and actually breaks the community linking in the Thunder app since it goes to an outside website first…

Thanks for the info, didn’t knew that had to change it in the settings and I never really checked them out.
Because I never knew that the app is doing that. Changed it in my settings for the future, thanks for the info.
