It’s a lore thing from Five Nights at Freddy’s. In 1987, one of the goofy haunted animatronics malfunctioned and gave a customer permanent brain damage. In-game, this is referred to as “The Bite of '87”.
“In my professional opinion”, the child’s bigger brother wanted to play a prank on him, so the brother, Michael, put the kid close to the animation cause he’s scared of them. Unfortunately, he was put a little too close and got his head crushed. Also, despite what everyone says, it’s not the bite of 87, it’s the bite of 83. The bite of 87 occurs in fnaf 2.
