I have looked at the lemmy.world mod log for both accounts.

The mod asked you what you meant by controlled opposition twice, they did give you warnings. You also called everyone who downvoted your comment fascist they also made no pro-fascist arguments as far as i saw(please correct me if im wrong)

Since you said its widespread, do you have any other examples? I may be missing context and would love to see more definitive proof that there is a problem with communities being compromised by fascist mods

I asked if you had more examples because i would prefer to trust the mod log more than some pictures that could easily be faked or missing context

I never said that you were rightly punished, i dont know enough about the subject or about moderation to claim that. I just said that it didnt mean the moderators are fascists. You never said that genocide is bad or that that fascism is bad. I dont think that the people who downvoted your comment did that because you called Israel a terrorist state, they probably did because they thought you were saying that both parties are the same(and after the edit that, saying that everyone who downvoted is a fascist).
I also dont agree with people just saying “propaganda” without actually attempting to explain why the comment is wrong, but that doesnt mean they believed in a far-right, authoritarian, and ultranationalist political ideology.

The problem wasnt that you mildly suggested that they were controlled by the opposition, they thought that you were claiming that they were gouvernment agents, thats why they asked you what you meant by “controlled opposition”.

To be clear: i hate authoritarianism, i hate capitalism, i believe people shouldnt be punished for existing or for being happy without hurting other people, me and my dad would probably get killed under fascism and i am the opposite of nationalist I dont want to attack you or say that you were rightly banned, i just hate people using words as generic insults and was curious if the problem was real or just someone miss-using the word

Also, they banned you for only 3 days for the comment

Its not universally known, i dont know about that

I havent denied anything that happened in Palestine, i have said that i might have missed something

I dont want to sow doubt or anything, i just asked for a source that couldnt be explained with another reason

Almost like the problem isn’t with lemmy.world, but with the user?

              Who would have thought?

Kind of ironic since Hitler based Germany’s immigration laws on USA’s.

Idk about that, but there’s def similarities. I think its dangerous to mischaracterize things that aren’t fascist as fascist, as popular movements which have done so seem to actually accelerate the spread of fascism. One a them dialectical historic contradictions.

But I don’t say this to take the wind out of anyone’s militancy against the all but unchecked rise of the anti-democratic authoritarian right. By the time something that is almost fascism becomes fully formed it is too late.

But it is worthwhile to use care when applying the term.

Hitler was explicit that he took inspiration from the US. The way the US treated the native tribes, in particular, was an inspiration to him.

Well there’s some things i agree with strongly, although I believe I still disagree with your definition of the word “fascist.” But it’s not an important difference since you’ve taken it up to actually try and learn history and make sense of it all. Very “class conscious worker” of you.

Do you do any organizing outside of your studies? You seem energetic, and class conscious workers have to get together and (imo) do political organizing, like how you discussed. I agree its a lousy time for consciousness but it think its changing. Time will tell. Thanks for the history lesson, appreciate you making time

A bit ago I saw a phrase about not glorifying death. Could have been the rules for a specific sub, I don’t have the hang of how this place works yet.

Communities on Lemmy follow the rules of the community, and the instance that hosts that community. So, this would need to follow the rules of !leftymemes@lemmy.dbzer0.com and dbzer0, the instance that left memes is hosted on.

Both of these can be found in the sidebar on the main page of the community, aka !leftymemes@lemmy.dbzer0.com.

There are also some instances that will ban you for your comments/posts in other communities, but that’s not common for most places that you would want to post anyway, or unless you post something very awful.

Does anyone know where I could possibly get a stencil like this? Feels like I could finally have a productive use of my time if I knew where to find something like this
