My most boring side, the one that likes to go in long tangents and really cares about stuff.

  • Used Last.fm for like 3 months before finding out about ListenBrainz and making the switch. Truly amazing app, love all of their services (Picard my goat) and I’m happy to hear more people are joining!

I wish the social aspect was a bit more active though, I always follow people with similar taste but I never get a follow back (and the accounts always have 0 people they follow). Also I never see pinned songs and such :(

  • Oh my godd I’m so tired or this shit

“Uhm actually my field is vey intricate and has a lot of layers than an AI could never replace it… But yeah your field fucking sucks and I don’t care if it gets replaced with AI.”

Fuck these fake anti-AI people, if you only defend human writing, but ignore and actively support the end of human art, coding, etc, then you’re part of the problem too

  • Skewed towards my taste in gaming, but still trying to think about humanity:

    • UNDERTALE. My favorite videogame OAT, amazing storytelling, characters and soundtrack. This is my least replayable pick, but one that I would not want to lose
    • The Binding of Isaac. Contender for the best Rougelike ever made, with an absurd level of replayability and great modding community
    • Minecraft. Even though i don’t care about Minecraft that much, the things that this game has accomplished is crazy. I would not want to lose Redstone or the amazing modding community it has. Tons of ways to play and, it’s the most purchased game in history, I think it’s worth perserving.
    • Geometry Dash. I would not want to leave the “rithym game” (debatable) community with nothing. GD is also a game I’m super in love with. The community is great and at this point it’s close to being its own gaming engine, so I think it fits here.
    • Skyrim. This game I haven’t played ever, but I know what it means to a lot of people. Considering the rest of my cartoony and slightly niche picks, I think having one, extremely moddable medieval single player helps to have variety.

  • He got an account just to spy me on here from time to time (I mean it in a cute way), but I don’t think he has any interest of actually using it, for now at least. He’s not really a “social media” person, Instagram is like his “main platform” but only because all his friends are there lol

He has shown interest in my “decentralization journey” (for lack of a better term, I guess) because we share similar values and he recognizes that moving traffic to popular social media websites like Instagram or Twitter is harmful because the parent companies are awful (less focus on privacy, more focus on environmental impact and political issues). Got him to use Bluesky instead of Twitter because of this.
