Unironically, that should be cheating. Tests should measure your mastery over the subject of the class, passing the test shouldn’t be the goal
It’s societal collapse type shit

I mean, yeah, but you’re not suspending your sense of disbelief enough
There’s definitely people who literally have reached in, with their bare hands, and tried to pick up a casserole. There’s even people who regularly give themselves severe burns because they just straight up forget things are hot
There’s also people who don’t know what oven mitts are, what they’re for, or don’t have them. They might use a dish towel or all sorts of other wacky work arounds. I mean, you can even get by fine without ever using an oven
There’s a lot of humor to be had here if you’re less rigid in your thinking. If you try to imagine how someone could fit that description, assuming that there’s some degree of exaggeration for comedic effect
I mean…I do sometimes. Usually pizzas or things on aluminum foil. I also used to pull out noodles from boiling water to test them while cooking
Obviously I’m not grabbing 350F glass or metal with my bare hands, but if you’re very deliberate with your movements you’d be surprised what you can do without burning yourself
How about: they’re a major factor in the rise of post truth and in ruining the Internet. And in hacking democracy itself
Their control is endangering the human race. They’ve crushed countless innovations to keep a stranglehold on technology. They proactively helped fascists get into power
They don’t deserve to make ever increasing money off us. They’re not content creators - they’re bad stewards of a public forum they bought and expanded through monopolistic practices.
I’d say it’s not only moral to deny them ad revenue, I think watching their ads is a danger to society
No, they do. They don’t die, but they lose their current life

I have no idea what you’re talking about, but I think you dropped this: .com.ru
Ignore it all you like, sadly it will affect you too
The herbivore/carnivore/omnivore distinction is pretty stupid to begin with
There are a few animals that have a single food source. There are many that require certain things in their diet. There’s basically nothing that exclusively eats meat (although there’s many who need it) and there’s few if any “herbivore” that won’t take a little extra protein if they don’t have to chase it
I got a temp ban on that subreddit once for saying that while the man in the story was clearly the asshole, the woman (op) was overly confrontational and made the situation so much worse than it had to be
There’s actually impossible colors that can be seen by playing with the visual spectrum of the color sensitive molecules. You can also play with visual processing to further see impossible colors
I’m not saying there’s infinite combinations, but there’s ones you’ve never seen and no one has a word for
It’s an anti-dating simulator… Kind of like an anti-joke or an anti-game, they’re subcategories of jokes and games
If you invert the game mechanic, you’re still using the mechanic. That’s very different from not using the mechanic
We live in a crazy society with every moment regimented. Every inch of land “belongs” to someone, you have to do endless paperwork just to be allowed to live. You almost can’t even have hobbies unless someone is making money off it
The way I see it, if we fix the world then technology will continue to leap forward. Then in 70 years or so I’ll take a couple decades to completely dedicate myself to raising children, hopefully in a healthy world full of life
If not, I’m not dragging anyone else into this mess.
That is a very interesting point, and kind of stands for itself. Dude showed up in court looking like an Instagram model… How else could he clean up so well in prison?
I forget who it is that was like “he’ll never make it in prison, he has no idea what he’s in for”
Obviously, he’s even more of a hero in there
I think they’re trying to explain how this works in a dating sim.
This isn’t the first game to do it… Instead of trying to weave through the choices to date a character or characters, you weave through the options to avoid dating without getting a game over (or whatever game mechanic they use)
An iPod nano can’t play over USB, you need to use the aux port
Magnesium glycinate. Made every difference in the world for me - I still need my meds to perform at my best, but I can muddle through without them with magnesium and a good night of sleep
No way. If anything, that kind of thing just supresses people from expressing themselves honestly in a way that might help them.
Real human connection and compassion might make a difference. A cookie cutter template message is (genuinely) a “we don’t want you to talk about this here” response
We aren’t beholden to advertisers, we don’t need this
I’m saying the objective (teaching/learning/understanding) has been confused for the metric (test results)
It’s endemic. Nothing else in life works like this. Even now, someone is probably reading this like I’m some midwit thinking “well, how do you rank the students, smart ass?”. And that’s a fucking problem
