This was a long time ago in a different world. I’m an old man now. My job now is coaching soccer and gardening and baking, but thanks for writing that. Hopefully new admins see it.

It depends on the environment for sure. That was standard at the end of my career but definitely not at the beginning.

No but it’s a good start. The problem is that literally everyone would do it, from directors to the lowest paid people on the job. EVERYBODY does it. We detected and blocked, so then they started hardwire connecting to switches that they saw in offices. We had blocked those, so they started trying to connect to industrial switches out in the factories.

It was maddening.

You would be shocked at the amount of times employees would bring devices into our air gapped network.

The first pc I bought had a Cyrix processor cause I couldn’t afford Intel.

I shorted them hard once. They stayed solvent longer than I could.

I use their phone app. I sure have a weekend chore to get the fuck off that app.

My neighbor works for Bungie. I’m too afraid to ask if she still has a job. Getting laid off sucks but I bet working there still sucks too. I bet their office is a fuckin graveyard.

I bought for my kids on the 3 year conversion deal. It’s great for them. They can try all sorts of different games and have played stuff they never would have otherwise. Since I generally refuse to buy on release day or preorder, them being able to play newly released games with their friends has been pretty cool too.

I ain’t paying $15/month/per kid tho. That’s crazy talk.

Fallout 4 with the StoryWealth mod. I never finished FO4 the first time thru so I’m trying again. 15 hours in.

Decades ago I bought a sealed copy of Dragon Warrior off a guy for $30. While exchanging info he said he’d throw in a sealed copy of Dragon Warrior 2 for $20 more. I wasn’t really a collector (I wanted to play them) so I said sure what the hell, nice boxes and inserts are always cool. I never got around to playing them so they sat in a plastic shell.

They’re perfect, they’re unopened, and I still got em.
