Had the same experience on Blue sky. I was never into Twitter, so I checked out Bsky to see if that was better. Nah. Just different political circle jerking.

I live in a farming area and there are no real farmer’s markets here. The supposed farmer’s market is mostly low-grade Etsy crafts and maybe two tables reselling grocery store produce at 300% markup.

At long last, and at grotesque costs, we finally have a machine that repeats anything a billionaire says. What a time to be alive.

This time we’re getting at least one plague, mass crop failures, probably a lot of complexity collapse in the US.

Not a real quote, and I’m not a fan of the implied minimizing of modern social problems.

I’m picturing a guy sighing with his hands on his head, staring at most of a car with the front wheel stuck in the router. Like, he can figure this out, just give him a minute. Maybe he needs a walk to clear his head. The pieces are there.

The least believable part of this is a person like that just voluntarily hanging out in public around people.

We had like a hundred years to mitigate this, and we didn’t. Had to run out of time at some point.

I did not expect the lovage to be such a hit with the bugs! That was a pleasant surprise. I think it’s the most ladybugs I’ve seen on one plant.

Lovage is blooming, and teeming with little hoverflies and ladybugs.
