People aren’t going to see a movie that lies about it being a part 1 either, at least not after the first weekend when the word gets out

That’s how live service games work. The vast majority don’t make money. It’s a go viral or die market.
Wouldn’t this violate the prime directive? Or if the captain fucks an elf is it ok then?
No one cares about genocide. At least not in significant numbers.
Three felonies a day is 15 years old and only more true than ever.
Lease has a specific term, generally long. Rent implies short term or indefinite length.
That advice seems like a red flag. There are way more options to diversify investments in an IRA than a 401k, you can also invest in the same funds through an IRA that are available to your 401k. Either way you end up paying fees to someone as well.
The difference is the government exists to step in and punish scammers, and regulates markets to prevent many scams for being possible.
That’s a similar but different concept. Blockchain adds a way to determine consensus of the correct tree. While git is distributed, it’s generally not trustless, there’s generally a trusted version of the repository.
Blockchain wouldn’t have mattered for 2008, at least not the crash parts. Blockchain would help with who owned which loans which was also an issue. It wouldn’t do anything for the crash parts as that was bad lending fundamentals of no verified income or unrealistic appraisal.
Blockchain scams are evidence of it’s unreadiness and naivety. Crypto has speed ran the last 200-300 years of financial fraud. Pump and dumps, ponzi schemes, front running, market manipulation, rug pulls, and more.the fact the only viable use case is crime is also pretty telling, anyone that can safely involve a government entity would rather do that.

After Harley there’s not much point in worrying about crazy.
There’s nothing worse than hearing a recording of your voice though.
Blockchain is a solution in search of a problem. A way to establish trust while not trusting any party is a cool concept, but in the real world it’s far easier to establish a source of trust.
Get a cheap disposable one. If you really don’t use it often the cost of an unused reusable thing is greater than buying disposable.
Time to break out the

Only psychopaths drink wine while playing games with kids. Normal people drink vodka with light ice in that scenario.
Barely anything isn’t nothing, they still have predators.
I really hope that guy isn’t allowed to bet on games.
You saw a steam deck ad, you just didn’t classify it as an ad. People who think ads don’t affect them are lieing to themselves. Not all ads are about immediate action. You stop at Taco Bell over McDonald’s on a road trip because their ad gets associated with happiness subconsciously. Not being able to think of the ads is the point, most ads aren’t trying to directly stick in your brain, it’s about associating keywords and emotion.
