As a nearly sole Linux user, this is a strength for Linux. The ability to complain about features and push for improvements is exactly what sets it apart from having to submit to profit motivations. Maybe they’re misguided, but I’d rather embrace it and chance at growing the community.
It’s not as if Canonical hasn’t already enshittified. I don’t think going public is going to change that much.

One of the biggest feautures missing for professionals is CMYK color space. There are some workarounds found, but it’s not at the same level of Adobe and certainly not built for it.
I switched to FOSS everything and I still miss a lot of stuff even if I’ll never touch Adobe again. Everything is so much harder to use and that was a sacrifice I chose to make for the sake of software freedom


Yet another Gitea self-hoster here. It mimics GitHub behavior so well that it’s pretty much directly compatible with GitHub Actions and everything. It has a tool built just for mass migrating repositories.
