5·10 days agoI just bought an ev. The touch screen is being tracked like a web page. They know how often you use the normal basic features.
I wish they were upfront about the data selling. Factor that into the price.

We make the cars for $4000 anyway. Why do we have so many extra part laying around. Looks back at camera so if you want an affordable car, buy ours, we make money off of you while you drive. It’s been unnecessary for a long time. It’s to make sure we know we are being watched. It’s 1984. That’s my conspiracy that hasn’t been proven wrong, yet. After covid. We got too many better jobs. It’s 1984 but they need us to comply.

They hide it as an SOS system. “Only used in case of emergency.” It’s connected to GPS, sim like a cellphone that has at least 4g cell service to “call emergency.” I think Chevy used their Onstar connection. That’s always on, and the data text files can be sent without interrupting that service.
Correct me if it’s worth it to you. I am doing gut math, but isn’t a Ford vehical only like 20% fewer made in China parts? They might even be equal parts, just 1 assembled in Mexico.
I’d rather have clean air and water. If ai is harming the environment and the health of the people around it, then it’s cheaper on the government to get rid of AI than deal with the health issues. It’s not that hard.
Part of Universal Healthcare is making sure corporations are not poisoning the people.
I think we need to start talking global treaties where we just not produce for a minute. Like strategic factory shut downs that let us breath some fresh air.
Ai isn’t the only one polluting for no reason. No layoff. Just really nice time off to move about the world. Fuck ai for sure. Data centers are not needed when it’s only other AI bots talking to eachother. Build some housing and crisis help centers for fucks sake.
