You can’t do this to me on the day Patrick Stewart died!
“Maya S. Trojan. My estrogen? Get it, get it? … Fuck you shut up then, I think your jokes are stupid too!”
I weave back and forth between silly goose and solarpunk socialist.
I’m just one big ball of fucked up and anxious and that’s OK.

brutal, sorry about that! thanks for making it easier for other mobile users to see!

This comic is about ICE.

I already got my invitation 🙂 I hope I can afford it at some point, too.

Isn’t it a paid service, though? I trust Mozilla more than Proton as well… but I also can’t afford a paid service at the moment.

Tuta is based in Germany, so they are more likely to have to comply with information requests as Germany is part of the 14 Eyes international information sharing network. Thus countries like the USA may be able to get your info from Tuta legally.
Other than that? Honestly I’m not sure.

I’m an older person so I could be wrong, but it seems allusions to cussing is now more regularly accepted as long as it isn’t the cuss word itself.
This is sort of how it used to be with “bullshit” and “BS”. The shortened term lets you know what they think without actually uttering the cuss word. Same with “Pissed off” becoming “PO’d” or “Put Out.” The abbreviation was viewed as more socially acceptable, at least when I was growing up.
My go-to example for the modern era is from The Amazing World of Gumball, in which “what the what” is a common phrase used in the show and an obvious replacement for “what the fuck.”
Thus I think @oxideseven@lemmy.ca has it right that younger people probably say “AF” a lot to get away with not actually saying the curse word itself.

Wow, artist has come a long way, especially in regards to how they draw people of color.

Same characters, 2019.
EDIT: Thanks to @greenknight23@lemmy.world:

more like COVID hiring.
in June 2019 they had 144,000 employees.
2020 163,000 employees
2021 181,000 employees
2022 221,000 employees
now they have around 230,000 employees
the spike in hiring coincides with the rise of COVID and moving the whole world online
after losing 60,000 they will have 170,000, still almost 30k more than 7 years ago.

Be careful though, just like “Trump Derangement Syndrome” got swapped from meaning people crazed for Trump to meaning crazed against Trump… AI psychosis could be twisted by the media (tech bro owned) into “people who dislike AI are crazy.”

Always has been. Richard Stallman is a fucking creepy shitbag, but he was also right about a lot of things regarding software and software freedom.

voiced by Levi Stubbs! also voiced Audrey II in Little Shop of Horrors. such a great voice actor!
Clankor-4000
Jeeze, you’d think they’d embrace their UUIDs instead of these bullshit racist names given to them by humans.
I’d dump her too! No respect!

This should be shared over in the B-Movie Bonanza community.

It wasn’t in theaters long enough for anyone to have pirated it yet it seems

Telecommunications Act of 1996 is what really kicked media consolidation into high gear, it’s been downhill ever since.

They literally credit this tweet from 2016, ten years ago, for inspiration.
I think you’re remembering the original twitter post but somehow didn’t notice it’s actually credited already.
