Man guess I’m in the minority for this on this forum but Hereditary is the pinnacle horror movie for me, I’ve seen it like 6 times and love it every single time. Doesn’t resort to jump scares, acting is incredible and the movie is just a batshit thrillride the entire time. I think I’m different when I watch movies as I don’t really care if something has done a similar concept before because usually the execution is different enough which it is here. Also this movie introduced the head banging possession scene thing, at least 3 movies this year and last have all had a similar scene.

I have the thin silver JSAUX one and don’t have an issue like that, but sometimes it refuses to charge until I reseat the AC adapter.

I thought the full costume stage singing pieces made sense and the rest were odd but they do work because

Bruce and Thomas Wayne were in the movies yes, they are part of that universe but it is not a superhero batman film or in that universe which is what I had mentioned

Having watched both I would much rather watch both Joker movies several times than any of the suicide squads movies. None are perfect but if you know the story and where the character is supposed to exist it’s a good story across both.

They had Lady Gaga in the movie and gotta use her talents, a couple of the numbers were good and made sense, some were forced and unnecessary.

That’s what it was supposed to be, a gritty disconnected story about what a more realistic take on a joker would be, don’t think batman or super heroes was supposed to be in either one, not sure where that commenter is coming from.

There are a handful of singing renditions and dressed up numbers with the two main actors.

Probably has a pet or two and doesn’t want any “real” kids so they don’t end up acting like their parents…

I worked at a engineering focused contract where we moved all our project management to gitlab and it saved so much time for everyone. Only hard part was collating data up to management in a way they could understand but I was happy to spend a few hours every few months to do that than using jira in any capacity

I really enjoyed it, saw it twice. was a classic summer blockbuster with good actors and the CGI for the storms was insane and really well done

First time I watched it in theaters I hadn’t read anything Dune and honestly hated it because I had no idea what was going on or who people were or why they were involved. After reading the first book and learning more about spice, the spacing guild, the witch covenant and going back in I freaking loved it. Same with my wife who isn’t usually the biggest SciFi person, took her 3 watches but she loves the universe and the music.

Wife and I accidentally watched the sequel a few months ago, she was surprised I had never heard of the crow and I kinda had difficulty finding it on streaming. Watched the sequel first because it had been 15 years since she’s seen it she thought that was it. Watching both close together I thought the sequel had a better overall story but production, budget and acting were all severely worse but enjoyed both.

I have a 5600X3D and 3070 and had issues with PopOS and Fedora but EndeavourOS which wraps arch works like a dream. Others have reported no issues with nvidia and PopOS and other distros but you may need to try more than 1

But I have nvidia hardware :(

Was just about to comment I manually upgraded to 555 and Firefox crashes every so often, running a game for 12 minutes was smooth

I use endeavorOS with my 3070 and if runs great. Better than what I could get from Pop and nobara when I evaluated them months ago

I appreciate the look behind the curtain but since apple was found in a court to have deceived customers and was proven of wrong doing it certainly is a bit more than just the media blowing it out of proportion or Apple actually doing people a favor that was misinterpreted. For example 3 days a week I use a phone from 2018 that was my daily driver for 3 years and needed to use it as a backup MFA device that I also sometimes stream and watch media on for a few hours a day. Updated it to the latest LineageOS and haven’t had to worry about freezing or being slow or shutting off and corrupting my shit.
