  • I don’t think anyone will suffer if they don’t see this (mildly interesting) post because they have chosen to hide nsfw content. I think anyone who decides to hide nsfw stuff has only themselves to blame if they miss the most interesting stuff.

I find this “don’t censor obscenities here, whe’re not on F*c*book” mentality just as annoying as the censoring itself. If you don’t like the way someone is writing, don’t read it. There are millions of other posts for you.

  • The devil helping you figure out what you are capable of and what not is quite on point.

The devil whispered in my ear: “You are not strong enough to withstand the storm.”
So I built a shelter that was able to withstand the storm and survived. Thanks for the heads up, devil. My neighbour didn’t listen to the devil and rather prayed to god when the storm arrived. He got knocked out by a flying tree.

  • Soaking the oats in cold water or milk over night helps your body to get some of the valuable ingredients. It’s probably a good idea to put them in the fridge overnight so the milk doesn’t go bad. But it’s no problem to heat the soaked oats in the microwave in the morning if you prefer them hot.

If you forgot to soak the oats over night, you can also let them soak in hot water for 30 minutes for a similar effect.

Or you can just eat them unsoaked. They might be a bit less healthy, but after all, they’re still a healthy food.

I wouldn’t say >!Anvil!< is European or >!Squaring the circle!< is Greek, just because it was first described in ancient Greece. You wouldn’t call “city” an Iraqi concept just because the first city was in the same region as modern day Iraq.

The two American books on the other hand are not very well know around the world. I’m not even sure if they have ever been released here in Germany for example. Unlike the Dostojewski book, that got international recognition and has been translated at least 12 times into German. That didn’t help me to guess it, though. I’m just not very well read.
