One of the cinemas in my town had a viewing of this film as well. It’s one of my favorite horror films of all time! I think since Sam Neill died recently a lot of cinemas are showing films he starred in.

The ‘Flowers in the Attic’ series by V.C. Andrews is full of incestuous relationships. Actually, incest seems to be a theme in many of her books.

I think you’re confusing Aeolus and the Laestrygonians. Odysseus first meets Aeolus in Aeolia, where he’s given the gift of wind, then he goes to Telepylus where he meets the young girl, Antiphates’ daughter. That’s where they are attacked by the Laestrygonians.
