Holy crap, I didn’t realize there was was some Velcro there!! I even looked for it.

I just want to say the ergonomic addon pack only the controller straps are any good. A bit confusing to put on but makes more sense when you figure it out.
However the top head strap is complete garbage. Out of all the top straps I’ve seen this one has got to be the worst. Not adjustable at all. I have a big head, regular hats don’t fit me… The headstrap is way too shallow and feels like it’s gonna roll off my head.

Took about a week to get my order email. Then a couple more days to get shipped. Shipping itself only took a couple days.

I’ve been building up a liquor collection and I got a friend who makes fireworks so I’m planning a huge party for when the time comes

Honestly I really hate JavaScript. I miss the days of simple MVC based APIs and websites. It was really effecient and easier to understand and secure. Now everything uses live sockets blehhh

Pretty interesting story about a matrix vulnerability!

Hopefully it’s a well learned lesson for them.

This is actually really fascinating. I didn’t think it was possible to match builds like this. My mind has been blown. Is this the future of game preservation??

Oh my who could have predicted that (almost everyone)

There’s a reason. US is buying all memory fab capacity to deprive other countries, including China, from having access to RAM. The RAM companies, taking advantage of this situation and colluding, are raising prices and limiting production to create false scarcity. Unfortunately this means the average American has to pay arm and a leg for even small amounts of memory and storage.

HP is not HPE they are very different companies.

So annoying that technology is so much more expensive these days. My steam deck is getting old and still appreciating in value its not how this is supposed to work. Like what the fuck. I am really fucking pissed. My old laptop from 2022 has 64GB of ram. I shouldn’t have to beg for more than 16GB of ram. Glad I built my server before all this nonsense started my $400 memory kit now retails for $4000. AI is complete fucking bullshit. It can’t be trusted at all. Every single google has wrong answers. Can’t even find legitimate websites anymore. We are so fucked. LLMs aren’t good and they never will be. Like yeah they can be useful but everyone is using them the wrong way. I started poisoning my reddit posts out of spite. Fuck them all. Ugggghhhhhhhhhhhh

I have no problem competing with kbm players using controller. Gyro plus touch pad on DS4/Steam controller is a game changer. I regularly get crowns on Fortnite.

Maybe we should be looking at the larger picture here this is exactly why Signal or any other privately owned centralized messaging system can never be trusted. Stop using Signal or WhatsApp.
Look at alternatives like Matrix that are immune to this sort of thing.

The truth is most pixel devices had the ability to do this but google kneecapped their pixel devices to push chromecast.

I just did the same thing 100 bucks 32gb ram I had lying around, still very cheap. Managed 4.7 GHz overclock with my existing 8350 cooler. It’s the best CPU with DDR3 though I hear there are comparable xeons.
They will get it eventually it just takes time for people to realize they need to try again. That’s the main issue is people are just lazy.
But I’ve been through multiple conversions like from slashdot to digg then to reddit and now federated. There will always be slow people that take awhile to figure out there is something better to be had.
I still go on Reddit in some cases because google seo or niche communities that are already pretty small. I mean I don’t login anymore and I’ve replaced all of my 10,000 comments. You can definitely tell there has been a massive brain drain. I still get a chuckle when occasionally people reply to my altered comments saying “aww darn that was actually the correct answer”. All my comments now point to federated communities and call out Reddits awful behavior.
Sites come on and enshitify and then people move on (I’m used to it) bit its just nice to know I might not have to do that here. It’s a little annoying to manage multiple accounts with Lemmy/piefed but it also gives me a layer of redundancy. Reddit blocking mobile anonymous users has actually helped me a lot because I was hardcore addicted to reddit.
