I think this is incorrect but I could be wrong.
You can not buy a Pixel device preloaded with GrapheneOS. They only come from Google with their standard Android and it’s up to the end user to install GrapheneOS. Unless you buy a used Pixel device with GrapheneOS already installed.
We can’t buy Chinese EV’s in Canada thanks to the 100% tariff imposed by the GoC. I wish they’d get rid of the tariff. Our cheapest EV option right now is the Fiat 500e and that starts at over $30,000.
Much cheaper option…

If you go with Mullvad look for the gift cards out there that are for 6 or 12 months of service. I grabbed one off Amazon.ca for 12 months at $75. Works out to be cheaper than paying per month with the ever changing exchange rates.
I also like the fact that Mullvad has servers in the city I live in where as Proton has them on the west coast or east coast. Not the greatest for those in the middle of the country.

Not since my provider(Koodo) started offering Call Control. When humans call my number they get a recording that they have to enter a number that is randomly selected with each incoming call.
Yeah I’d consider that as a used phone. I’d only get the hardware from the OEM and install GrapheneOS myself. Less chance of man in the middle. It’s super easy to install using the web installer.
