Lucky, mine came back and wanted more. Nothing terrified me more than the idea of the little crack head getting caffeinated.

Ha! Cats, never change. I was on my roof fixing my satellite dish which is on a mast, and got the surprise of my life to suddenly feel my cat butting my ankles. I did not know he could climb a ladder.
And I immediately think “the mushroom strain?”
I have this problem. One cat is food obsessed, the other is a picky eater and very active. Trying to coordinate their food is hard because the picky eater is a grazer he doesn’t like to eat his food in large amounts. And there’s the picky eating part, coaxing and treats then the other one is jealous. It can be exhausting!
I would guess the main purpose of the hatch is to prevent the dogs freely leaping between yards unsupervised.
I have done this in Kansas City, really easy to do there.
Oh, so how dare a (checks notes) children’s entertainer give a fuck about children!
They are estimations. I do give them weight in the to eat or not to eat decision, but I also use my own senses.
I had a similar experience. I have a very demanding pushy cat who doesn’t like other cats because he sees them as attention competition. We got another cat 2 months younger kept him separated for two weeks and then slowly started having supervised visitation. He hissed and growled outside the door at first and then later a bit to his face. But by the end of the month they could be left alone together. This is them, about a month and a half after Ozzie came home with us.
CAPTCHA was never about keeping bots or AI out. It was always about tracking people. That’s why you get more of the “select correct images” CAPTCHAs the more you hide who you are online. It’s not that they are trying to figure out if you are a bot, it that they are trying to figure out who you are period. Interactions with a site exchange information the more interactions the more information they get. Also they can’t make a profit selling your information, they might as well use your free labor to train their AI.
Now I know I am relatively young (just making the cut off to be considered a Millennial). But my parents were very against allowing kids access to the internet but not ani-technology. As a result I was using a 1996 Toshiba satellite when I was 4yr for Scholastic Reader Rabbit preschool games, but didn’t have regular internet access until I was 15. So I am familiar with the eccentricities of Windows 95, this did help me at work once when we had to use some legacy software from the 90’s that would only run on Win 98. But anyway I only recently have started using Linux in Docker containers for testing environments.
Yeah, it’s more his personality. My other cat is very chill but the smallest one has a compulsion to shred cardboard and paper, really anything that will tear. He also plays by himself running up and down the hallway all hours of the night chasing toys he brought there for the purpose. Just a ton of energy, gets bored easily.
