I’ll say it. He’s definitely at least partially responsible for this situation that he’s complaining about now.

Sadly, they’re one of the worst offenders of shutting things down.

People lost their shit about Google Glass, claiming users would be able to take pics of them without their knowledge, yet they didn’t bat an eye at the established creepers doing that already with smartphones and they sure don’t seem to care much about Meta putting forth Glass 2.0, now with more invasiveness! An article about it is a good first step, but articles like this about Glass were everywhere, along with a general negative sentiment in the public (and there even were some assaults on people using those things!), yet I rarely hear about these even worse glasses. Do people just not care about privacy anymore?

My favorite types of those are when they flash the text, “The trailer starts NOW!” on the screen immediately before the trailer starts.

That’s the file structure of a Blu-ray disc that’s been unencrypted. Get MakeMKV and open the main directory using that software. It will read it as if you’ve given it an actual Blu-ray disc. It will show you the available video files. The largest one will be the movie, so if you want, you can select only that from the list and it will rip it out of the file structure and give you an mkv file of the movie. It’ll be large because it’s not compressed, so to save space, you can use Handbrake or ffmpeg if you’re nice with command lines to encode it to your favorite codec.

That stand was awesome and I used the OG Droid as an alarm clock for years after I stopped using it as a phone. I wish they still made horizontal docks for phones like that. It’s such a nice way to get some extra use out of the phone.

I still have mine, and amazingly it still boots up! I loved it so much!

This game made me get emotional over extremely simple squares and rectangles and I’ve never fully come to terms with that. 10/10 I definitely recommend this to everyone.

I played the demo and really wanted to like it, but server issues ruined the experience even then and I never saw another human player, so how many people could have been trying to play? And that’s not to mention the quite poor performance on rather capable hardware.

What, you don’t want to get a second job just to afford a gaming console? 😂

From what I can tell, it’s that plus a documentary on the history of the game.

On a side note, that has to be the most entertaining Easter egg I’ve seen in a game. I remember showing it to my cousin and his jaw dropped. 😂
