@slazer2au in Friendica we can use BBCode [img=url]image discription[/url] I think Pleroma does similar, but I’m not aware of any way to do that in Mastodon (it really is the worst platform on the 'verse)

@slazer2au I also find it humerous that on mastdon the image in your reply doesn’t show for me.
hopefully these guys can help https://lemmy.world/post/45898608
@slazer2au shoot, I thought it would just embed the image into the post on lemmy since the link ended in .jpg. That’s what #ZappDit and other NOSTR clients do.
I’ll have to learn what the command is to do so from Mastodon. Similarly for putting a link to article in the title instead having to have it show in text in the post.
Friendica is so much better than Mastodon, but I post at work and for some reason corporate IT decided to block libranet.de as if it’s a malware site.
@bruhbeans somebody let me know, stat!

@ryedaft 🤷there certainly are some people who are willing to pay more for a doctor they know/trust, and when you have Kennedy level money…
Let’s make sure we understand what he was comparing:
“During the hearing, Rep. Josh Harder (D-Cali.) claimed that the average American would have to pay over $286,000 out of pocket to receive the same addiction treatment that he had.”

@JupiterRowland works just fine from AndStatus
