We use Signal at the moment, we haven’t used WhatsApp between us at least for almost 5 years.
They tried to hide it but didn’t try hard enough.
Fyi she asked for them and we got married last Friday after 5,5 years together and she sent me a few pics which i didn’t keep or download on my end but it was over WhatsApp so they are already in the system asshole.
Have some dic pics that were uploaded that i sent to my gf when we started dating and i’m glad i didn’t delete them because now they have to look at my junk every time they decide to go snooping around where they shouldn’t.
Technically you rented that what you think you bought and when the licence expires the game,movie, etc. will be deleted from your library, best recent example is The Crew by Ubisoft and there was that whole debacle with Sony and their Discovery Channel licence where people lost a ton of documentaries, was later restored… mostly, but it showed how fragile this digital ecosystem is and why people turn to piracy eventually since you basically don’t own anything you shouldn’t feel guilty about it.
Pretty sure every country that exists today has museums full of stolen stuff, ok not every country, third world countries don’t have anything, it’s all been stolen already.
While they are absolute POS i’m glad they did this because this is the perfect example of “shooting yourself in the foot”, they drew more attention to this by acting this way instead of ignoring it and it’s getting SOOOO much more coverage.
It’s funny how all the bigwigs are suddenly interested in “child safety” now that ol Eppie is gone, funny that. Also at least kids are learning how stick it to those old sacks for trying to take away their freedom.
They are already billionaires, they have enough, don’t give them anything.
