  • Not at all! Nuclear is an excellent compliment to renewables and as a companion source to support the grid they are actually really effective. They’re also really useful in situations where renewables just aren’t an option such as large scale shipping. Obviously we haven’t seen any nuclear container ships yet but that’s mostly around startup and infrastructure costs as well as outdated regulations.

With small nuclear reactors becoming commonplace I wouldn’t be supprised if we start to see nuclear shipping becoming a thing in industry in the next 20-50 years.

Its already been proven as a reliable, safe, and effective power source in a naval context. The main hangup people seem to have is with accidents at sea, however again, the militaries of the world have already proven nuclear reactors safe in a number of accidents where a nuclear vessel has been lost and the reactors shut down safely and did not cause release of nuclear material.

  • My old cat used to sleep at the end of my bed, always has done. However, I often kick out in my sleep which regularly resulted in my cat being shoved off the end of the bed and down between the wall at which point he would calmly make his way under the bed, hop back up and resume position without so much as a fuss. I tried keeping him out of my room for a while but he would sit and complain for hours until I let him back in. Still don’t understand that cat to this day lol

  • It’s not a scam, its an accessory. It’s not going to make your ram faster or make you better at gaming but no one is claiming it will. Sure, its definitely overpriced for what you get but you’re delusional if you don’t think every company is doing that, rgb or not.

At the end of the day, some people just like to play with colourful lights and its not like you’re being forced to pay for rgb you don’t want, you can just build without it and save some money.

I don’t really get the big deal about it. Personally I prefer a clean dark build without the flashy lights but again, that’s personal preference. I wouldn’t want to force anyone to give up something they like.

  • “Rats is chugging along in second when he should be cruising in fifth”. I’ve had countless reports like that but that one stuck with me, probably for being so much more creative than the others.

I think it was the year following that report that they stuck me on my own desk facing a corner so that “you won’t keep getting distracted by other students”. I guess that teacher just really liked euphemisms. At least I always had a set of stationary for myself lol.

  • Small town for sure. I love the outdoors, I love the quiet life, I love the community cohesion, I love pretty little houses and cottages and I love animals. I adore hills and crags and mountains and valleys.

The city itself isn’t really my scene. I don’t like cars, I don’t like shopping centres, I don’t like big flashing lights, and loud noises, and I don’t like sirens or clubs. I especially don’t like loud cars and pollution.

I live in a city now and I just miss the colour green and ponds and lakes and people that smile and say hello. I realise the country isnt perfect and there’s still things I’d miss about the city but by far I’d rather live out there than the middle of a city.
