I have a full size and multiple 60%'s, they’re all very reliable, not the heartiest, but I had the first one for over 5 years, all of the screws stripped out of the back (from being repeatedly walked on by the dogs, rolled upon by myself), and it still worked. But using it became a chore so I caved and bought another to replace it.
Love my arteck gear, it’s cheap AF, but I can buy 5 or 6 for the price of 1 nice setup, and I don’t worry at all about it being trashed in transit.
The small keyboard fits just about any pocket my deck will fit into (yeah I travel in loose baggy clothes), and I have a really small collapsible kick stand for the deck as well.

Professionals with confidence are the absolute worst, I tell ever consultant or technician that comes into my lab “I’ll be in the corner if you need me to grab you any supplies or coffee, do you mind if I ask questions as you go so I can have a better understanding of what’s going on with this magical box”. I like to think they appreciate me.
Bwahaha, would love if that was the case. Maybe I was more aggressive as a teen? Maybe I pushed harder into areas where I was under leveled? Except I know that isn’t the case because I’m much more impatient as a gamer the days. I know that food and water were much more important to have on hand because of how frequently you’d need to rest between mobs I remember reaching the next tier of food and being relieved that I didn’t have to wait the entire 20 seconds, sometimes more if I needed 2 rounds of water to fill my mana bar, on the re-release there was barely any down time when grinding the lower levels.
I’m often one to question people’s rose tinted glasses, and I’m not upset for anyone to question my memory, but the"classic" release was made (not saying intentionally) easier than the original release (as a day 1 release player, through cataclysm)
I put 5 dollars into the clash of clans card game, realized they could very easily have had me for more, turned off the game, uninstalled, and never looked back (I don’t think I even used the currency I had purchased).
It was a good moment of realization, glad I got out for 5 dollars.

It was absolutely not the game that was released 22 years ago. Also they said they didn’t re-tune the enemies, but everything was easier, so maybe it wasn’t re-tuned, but it was differently tuned

I played when they “re released” classic, just before they bent over backwards to please China (that was a big reason I stopped, the other was classic wasn’t classic, there was so much jank in it that had clearly not been qc’d), now I read about the adventures of the dlcomics cast and that’s more than enough for me.

I’m just being pedantic here, but an intercom system expands anywhere there’s networking, requires fewer wires, and lower voltage (will even work without power, not very well, but it will)
Did you run the line under ground or through conduit? Disconnect it from both sides, attach string/fishing line to one side, pull cable out of conduit on the side without the string attached. Detach string from either meet cable, reattach string with Ethernet cable and the additional cable (speaker cable in this case), pull string from the original side until both cables make their appearance.
Outside of walkie talkies (have you considered walkie talkie? Maybe put an antenna outside of the shop?) this is the simplest way to do it (imo, but I don’t play with raspberry pi’s)
It’s literally speaker wire, or you could clip the ends of your Ethernet and use those (but you probably want your Ethernet out there still XD. One side will be to be run to power, but it’ll power the rest of the stations through the wire.

It’s similar to what we had growing up, 1 in the shed, 1 in the kitchen 1 in the game room, push the button of the location you wanted to talk to, only 1 direction of communication at a time, over.
I feel like you’re making it way more complicated than it needs to be, why would you involve a switch or processor when you’re just carrying sound waves? You don’t even need a modulator, it just needs to connect a microphone to a speaker like cans on a string. Is it the highest quality? No, will it record your conversation for posterity? Also no. Will it let you tell at someone to get their asses in for dinner, absolutely
