This death note book, I’d be more into having it for the fact it comes with an imaginary friend.

If anyone wants to see it (it’s how bungee jumping started):
It’s the chicken and the egg.
He was later rejected by his family and ended up homeless and struggling.

Turns out things won’t go well for the albatross (it will get shot). The saying, “to wear an albatross around one’s neck” is an indication of having been cursed. It comes from a 227 year old poem. From Wikipedia:
In the poem The Rime of the Ancient Mariner, an albatross follows a ship setting out to sea, which is considered a sign of good luck. However, the titular mariner shoots the albatross with a crossbow, an act that will curse the ship and cause it to suffer terrible mishaps. Unable to speak due to lack of water, the ship’s crew let the mariner know through their glances that they blame him for their plight and they tie the bird around his neck as a sign of his guilt. From this arose the image of an albatross around the neck as metaphor for a burden that is difficult to escape.
OOP should make REAL CLEAR to any kids that you can’t do this to living creatures.
Good boi
We need to normalize selfcare!
I think you’re correct, and the “shipyard” here is what’s known as “group therapy”. Group therapy is depicted in fight club, and it was often declared by the person running it when they had “a new person arrive to the group”, or when someone was “leaving the group”, making it seem like a notable event (much like a ship’s maiden voyage is a notable event).
It’s a reference to the semi-notorious “Cow Tools” Farside comic. Which confused lots of people because one of the ‘Cow Tools’ looked like a saw.
The joke that many people had trouble with the simplicity of was “if cows made tools, they wouldn’t be very good. They’d be crude/ineffective”.
It was too little for many people to appreciate. The tools are a meme for some fans.
Literally yes, it’s part of why art is sublime. All emotions are irrational to some extent.
Trying to get over your work related burnout through doing more work - is probably the dumbest AND worst idea I’ve heard in a while. Why would anyone do that other than that they’re in a kind of pathological denial or hace unresolved issues driving such behavior.
It’s irrational.
Seasons 33 and 34 and 35 are pretty good, no seriously, they’re highly regarded as a minor renaissance in quality.

A meme I don’t think should be promoted right now, because it spread their picture around.
…now if we want to distort the image so it has someone else’s face, thus confusing the popular idea of what they look like - I’m all for that.
Yes, it’s important to skill stack in order to remain competi… Hey where are you going! No you’re not allow up there to live your own life and develop as you please! Get back down here to compete against others just like you!
…and whatever you do, don’t form collective sympathies for each other, against your economic “betters”.
For that would risk a general strike.
Much of ideology and much of the beliefs of a culture work this way. We’re all in on spreading our beliefs. We reproduce these cultures and behaviors down through the generations.
Wonder how this comic got made.
Of course, Marx had some stuff to say about this:
I feel like these four panels (or the basic story/theme) should be made into the “hello world” of comic drawing.
