Since when did California adopt the Mexican flag that I see all over the protests there? If you’re America, and you’re fighting for American values, fly the American flag.
And I’m saying neither are fighting for US Democracy. Because they aren’t.
Almost all of them are traitors to their country. You won’t see them at protests, and usually they’re just thin-blue-line gang members. They don’t fly the American flag, they fly a rendition of it that’s clearly altered to show their black and white view of the world.
Like I said - In LA, people flying Mexican flags aren’t fighting for American Democracy.
And in the Whitehouse, clearly they’re flying Russian flags and not fighting for (but actively dismantling) American Democracy there.

I’m not even steeped in the depths of it. I’ve got friends who are using MCP and agents that can modify files on their own and work through problems over time and self-learn on your existing code, etc.
It’s crazy and makes my head spin. Many of them were super skeptical early on but the tools that are being developed are absolutely BONKERS.

No AI developer presents it like it’s static and in its final form. None. Not one of them. They are all racing for market share. We’re seeing leaps and bounds of improvements in the shortest of timeframes, even in the open source sector.
And this zealotry doesn’t even take into account that…humans make mistakes too. Much more than AI generates ‘slop’, there are a million garbage artists out there that produce complete trash. There are millions of people on the internet generating bad advice (Where’s Mankrik’s wife?).
I’ve seen people with this same attitude, attribute things incorrectly to AI slop because someone used an em-dash somewhere in their reply. So not only can’t the detractors actually tell what’s AI or not, their fundamentalist attitudes lead them to perceive every mistake as “AI SLOP”.

Have you seen how far it’s come in just a few short months though? It’s incredible the pace they’ve been achieving.
Because Microsoft is an anticompetitive market capturing trash heap of a company. They didn’t do Xbox because of a love for games, they did it to capture market share and it shows.
I love that Xbox is dying. The only thing better would be if Sega announced they were making consoles again.

You have the ability to choose an insurance company that doesn’t use those things. Hell, you even have the ability to self-insure in most states with enough collateral. Nothing is being forced on you. Hell - you EVEN have the ability to hire an in-person insurance agent – did you know that?
Sure, it’s not as cheap - but you’ve always been able to do this. You are not being forced like you claim, your own ignorance is what betrays you to the options you have available.
And what other people do with their ingestion of AI is their business, not yours.
Without AI, all of the things you say they are doing WITH AI were already possible. They could ALREADY spy on employees. They could ALREADY lie and manipulate people. All AI does is make it happen on a wider scale.
So instead of attacking “AI” “AI” “AI”…why not attack the things that are being done wrong, rather than the fact that it’s AI?
This kind of comic comes from people who claim Americans don’t have any “culture” of their own, when they’re steeped in it every day and fail to see it right in front of them.
