  • According to reports I’ve seen over the years the job market in China has been pretty disastrous for young college graduates for a while now. Contracts from foreign companies have been getting fewer and their domestic market isn‘t growing at a rate to negate this loss in work. China‘s wobbly housing market hasn‘t been doing great for some time either.

But of course AI adoption is blamed now instead like it is everywhere else. As if AI could replace all those jobs in manufacturing and construction.

And of course the arts and culture are being gutted first as they only enrich people‘s lives and you can‘t have that during a crisis apparently. They‘re always the first on the chopping block when old people at the top see performance dwindle. Now instead of having sophisticated, unemployed grads you will have uneducated, unemployed grads.
