Wisdom is probably a very real feature of society we need and depend on. I think with the suddenness of all the technological advancement the wisdom we needed to have in place just wasn’t there.

It’s almost like the reason there isn’t any visitors in a universe filled with life is knowledge cannot advance as fast as intelligence.

It’s not their platform was weak. It’s that they are weak. They hold their tongue while their opponents are jerking off in their face. They mind their Ps & Qs while someone holds a gun to a child’s head somewhere in America. They govern “responsibly” while half the government is on fire. There is no sense of urgency, there is no sense of reality, there is no sense they actually give a fuck.

It’s easy to stand up there at the podium and wane intellectual about filling the sky with stars and ask us all to “keep fighting” but where was your fight? How did you lose to this with everything on the line?

Why would we fight for a bunch of fish to be thrown on land so we can sit there and watch them flop around drowning in a political environment that is killing them?

Influencer, to me, is a very specific type of streamer. Oh, young whippersnapper, early on twitch was more focused on esports. That’s not to say there wasn’t variety streamers that had a following based mostly on their personality’s. That was growing along side esports except youtube was had dominated that content with lets plays and pewdiepie. For a long time LoL tournaments were the number one draw. There were others, too, and you could find and join those communities pretty easily.

Please, don’t go off on how those things still exist. I’m not blind. It’s just it’s the whole platform is not geared toward that kind of content anymore.

Ugh. Can someone make another video game streaming service that doesn’t allow influencers? I don’t even care if it was popular. I just want twitch of old back.

It’s few and far between. A good person isn’t a perfect person. It’s someone who does the hard thing because it’s the right thing. People also fall in and out of being their best selves. That’s exceptable as well. So, if you truly want to experience a genuinely good person, you have to trust they are before they can show you. If you want to be one don’t do it by following some strict rules set. Look for places where you can help then just be yourself.

Can’t argue with that. At the end of the day we are another mammalian creature that runs around killing, fucking, and shitting then we die. The ecosystem of today dying is of no consequences to the dinosaur, the wooly mammoth, or what ever critter that roamed these same lands. If the people won’t rise up for the sake of their own children then the only solution is to out spend climate change. Capitalism won’t save itself, it will monetize the downfall. So in a way these tech companies are doing exactly what their suppose to but not really what they should.
