What does the temperature of your gpu and cpu say when it happens? Since it is a laptop. Temp might be an issue.

Agree. Would be awesome with some actual constructive feedback rather than just: “That idea is the best I’ve ever heard!” It would be awesome to be able to switch off the “Trump” -mode and have a “real life”-mode
She had it coming. If you use months after 1 year, prepare to get slammed.

To give 170.000€ (without taxes and VAT) for a machine that only gets me 75km fully charged. (I imagine more likely 45km in cold climate. Not to mention not being able to go anywhere just on a regular stormy day) I really only see this for hobbyists, or millionaires who needs another “toy”.

Since I am a fan of blender I most likely have to vote for the first one. However it was kind of a blessing when many of the features that had to be installed as add-ons before now is a part of the plain software. They tend to implement all of the very popular ones, as a part of the standard program. I think people would lie if they didn’t love everything working right out of the box, so we don’t have to spend time on configuration and more time on actually creating.

Won’t be any different. It’s just a matter of time before Android goes the same

Barbie girl from Aqua & Wannabe from Spicegirls. Meme songs before it was a thing.

Have you tried another good drawing tablet you could boot linux on? Now, I’m no artist, but I have heard good things about krita?

Ye, I remember the first 3-4 months where horrible. Started out with kubuntu, and everything felt wrong and broken.
But I can say this: The past 3 years has been amazing for linux. It really went crazy with the amount of things you can use now but not before. The past 2 years I havent had anything in my household other than linux. Even my mother and brother got onbpard, who isn’t IT capeable at all! It’s really a special time for linux and easy for folks to get on-board now.

Maybe you should had posted this on the devs or gaming forums instead. But nicely done otherwise.

I did the jump 3 years ago, now Linux is the “normal” for me. Couldn’t imagine having a Windows machine anymore. Not even a Mac.

Yes, but only if you have atleast watched a season worth of content. I think it is okay to rate a show from season 1 forinstance. And being able to chance your opinion about it if season 2 rocks your world out of the blue. I mean, I don’t need to watch the whole sex and the city to understand the show isn’t for me. But am I going to rate it from my personal præferences? No, that wouldn’t really give people who likes these types of shows the correct score in the end.
What I hope is every institution and company has a costum (or bought license to a costum) linux distro which is reliable and stable and fullfill their needs, without having to pay to bug tech nor share all their data with them, but instead a ecosystem where the companies has their own linux devs or IT-department for their linux instead of current SD departments with focus on microsoft environment. Smaller businesses or institutions should be able to buy IT equipment with preinstalled and supported distros to their need.

“Nobody has Heard of these os’” - wtf you talk about? They are gaining popularity here in EU as well as in Turkey. It’s getting popular to de-google/de-americanize. People are hating on the monopoly iOS and Android has on the industry. Better to do something than being a sheep about it, and just let thos mofos suck the data out of your life forever?

Fairphone with /e/os or Jolla phone with sailfishos (waiting for the reviews of their new preordered flagship phone coming out this fall.)
I learn more from AI than I have learned from all kinds of sources for a long time. I use Mistral Le Chat. Since I don’t trust any other ai’s out there with my data, and it has just been life changing tool for me. I actually love all the errors while I vibecode etc. Because it is the troubleshooting and the errors that keeps me hot and learning. I don’t care what everyone says. I hate AI for all the shit it has forced down peoples throat. And if my only option was to pay for Chatgpt, I wouldn’t use AI either. But I love the Mistral Guys. I have spoken to them on many occasions. I know whst the company stands for and are bind to EU gdpr laws. So, I have no problem supporting this type of AI.
