Naw, dyna is a portable, I guess if you have a plug-in induction heater. Something like a volcano, or one of the coil powered PID vapes floating around. Like from cannabis hardware.
AWistfulNihilist@lemmy.worldto movies@piefed.social•‘The Voice of Hind Rajab’ Stuns Venice With Its Longest Standing Ovation of 22 Minutes Amid Tears and ‘Free Palestine’ Chants16·1 month agoI’m glad this is getting enough of a response that it might get international attention!
But, can you imagine how hellish it would be to be in one is those audiences being forced by social pressure to clap for longer and longer. 22 minutes is an incredible and awkward amount of time to just sit there and clap.
Your hands would look like trumps after, bruised and swollen with fluid.

Maybe “enjoy that PB&J your mom made you”
AWistfulNihilist@lemmy.worldto General Discussion@lemmy.world•I was banned from /c/unpopularopinion for posting an actually unpopular opinion that made people upset12·2 months agoLmao, the pic of what you actually said is hilarious. You earned your ban by being a dick, not by having an unpopular opinion. As a fellow dick, I’m giving you an unvarnished opinion.
Unpopular opinions good! Vitriol with no substance bad!
Dude, totally fair, that was needlessly dickish on my part. I’m saying I think it’s more than likely she would be communicating her progress through the mod he made for her so he would know when to focus on the ring shit. She more than likely would have told him she was near to finishing.
This is a very similar to my dynamic, I’ve experienced entire TV series through the communicating of my partner because the stuff they are excited about comes up in conversation.
I’m sure plenty of couples don’t necessarily communicate like that despite not being broken and/or lonely.
I mean shit, even cut that out, think of a healthy couple, she would be actively communicating her progress with his mod AT THE VERY LEAST!
I swear to fucking God you can tell how broken and lonely people are by how they react to shit like this.

AWistfulNihilist@lemmy.worldto Technology@lemmy.world•GitHub CEO delivers stark message to developers: Embrace AI or get out.English3·2 months agoThat’s perfect for higher ups. They don’t care if what you release has bugs as long as you work on them when they pop up, they consider that part of your job. They want a result quickly and will accept 85% if it moves the needle forward.
These people don’t care about technical debt, they don’t care about exploits until it happens to them, then it’s how bad and how long to fix. No one cares about doxxes anymore, it’s just the cost of doing business. Like recalls.
This is perfect for CEOs and billionaires because they don’t care how something is done at a 35,000 foot view, they just want it now. AI is a nightmare of exploits that haven’t even begun to be discovered yet. Things that will be easily exploitable, especially by other algorithms.
Coders are just as effected by supply and demand, and the demand is for AI products.

Reminds me of Valarie Hodges in Lousiana like a dozen years ago. Where she stopped supporting religious vouchers for school cause an Islamic school wanted to use them and she didn’t realize that could happen.

Where do I start?English132·4 months agoWes Anderson movies since moonrise kingdom have looked like an AI was trained on Wes Anderson movies. I still enjoyed grand Budapest hotel, but i also really love Ralph Fines.
Agree on Rushmore, Royal Tennenbaums (my personal favorite), and Grand Budapest Hotel, and I would replace darjeeling limited with Bottle Rocket.
Abd if you really really really liked RT and GBT, then watch The Life Aquatic.

I think California, Oregon, and Washington would, and probably Colorado too.2·4 months agoHe doesn’t need to imo, these things have plenty of inertia right now. It wouldn’t take a lot to get Americans fighting even harder against eachother than we are now even.

I think California, Oregon, and Washington would, and probably Colorado too.9·4 months agoI think the only reason states have not truly waged war on each other is that we are part of a union. That’s just my opinion, but many states would simply begin to fail without the feds redistributing wages from states that have good industry and gdp.
Once they don’t get, they will start to try to take, and that fire would spread faster than it could be put out. Again all imo. But us Americans are “a bit shit” to eachother already, to borrow a British phrase.

Helen O’Connell. The first person to truly get an accurate representation of the full organ (in humans), two thousand and fucking five. She started her research in the 90’s. If you’re ever wondering if the medical system is biased towards men, there you go. If you’ve seem an image of the full structure of the organ looking this:
That was Helen O’Connell. I stole that pic from here: https://tecscience.tec.mx/en/health/clitoris/
I was and am in a situation where WFM became voluntary because we outgrew the space while everyone was at home.
We have no limit of volunteers to work in the office, we have multiple people who never left the office, they continued to commute and went in every day.
So my anecdotal experience is the exact opposite of yours, which is why we don’t put a ton of stock in them and look at aggregates in studies. Making sense?
Unironically every Korean amd Japanese dating show that isn’t about divorcees.
I mean… yeah? It’s not really much of a mischaracterization if it’s true. At one point you have to accept that the we’re the baddies as a US citizen.
