I do feel somewhat bivalent about it, but at the end of the day, they are an activist group at heart. You do need to enter the nazi bar to do activism. Also, I do want Firefox to have more users, so I can continue to use it. Advertising for Firefox on the fedi isn’t terribly useful, since most people use it or a fork anyways, or have a strong reason why they don’t.
Like, I’m glad that they did previously leave X, to indicate that the Elmo place is problematic. That’s also activism. But I do also think, they should be visible there. And I do not think that many people would decide to not leave X, due to that being where they get their Firefox news from or whatever.
