I’m not going to see it, because I felt that the perfect getting-off point was at 3. There was someone who wrote a very good summary of my feelings who had seen it. Toy Story 5 is basically a do-anything movie, especially one that has reached a 5th entry and we’ll probably say a 6th will be down the line. It has told stories that it could tell for a series based on toys. There’s no villain, barely a message, no interesting plot points and the characters are just - there.
This is just simply the merchandising machine justifying itself with another entry and that’s all that is there to it.
