Oh, thanks for putting that song in my head.
Turn around…
I want to mention that the Neverending Story theme was written by Giorgio Moroder and sung by Limahl. So, nothing to do with the man who died other than sharing a movie.
But still, aaahhhhhaaaahhhhhaaahhhhh
Every now and then I get a little bit lonely and you’re never coming round
Turn around… Every now and then, I get a little bit tired
of listening to the sound of my tearsThat is also a great song!! Written by Jim Steinman

Those two soundtracks are stylistically as different as can be, and the fact that they’re at the same person shows an amazing range as a composer.
Also a number of very groovy lounge-jazz records composed in the 60s and 70s as advertising jingles and given away on promotional flexidiscs, in a way not really done anywhere except West Germany. A few decades ago, a Berlin label released a compilation of those titled Popshopping.
