Didn’t let the rosin cure, wanted to try with some fresh rosin.

So I decarbed about a G and added some Wax liquidizer for some extra thinning and flavoring.

Letting the rosin cure should allow me to avoid the thinner next time. Just wanted to make a cart tonight!

So I don’t smoke carts because of the heavy metals that are often found within them. Does making them homemade eliminate this issue or do the heavy metals come from heating the coil?

That I don’t know. Making them yourself you can avoid the PG and other thinners. I don’t think they have heavy metals in Canada, little more stringent on some stuff like that.

Now, growing in soil can leach heavy metals, there’s also the whole synthetic vs natural nutrients as well. But you can control everything if you do it yourself.

Gonna add on here, the coils, often the cheaper ones on disposables, are the source of heavy metals for most vapers.

When I vaped nic heavily while quitting (10 years!) I wrapped my own coils for this reason. I could source the wire from reputable locations and ensure I wasn’t add heavy metal poisoning to my vice.

I’d be looking to wind your own coils with the correct wire too if you wanted to reduce the metals exposure. I vape herb which feels pretty clean.
