I had an incident just like this with my grandmother/not my grandmother around the time I read this strip in the newspaper. It’s really terrifying to lose your responsible adult under ten.
That’s pretty interesting to me! My mom would give my sister and I shopping options, and when I would “lose” mom, I would hunt the aisles, but my sibling would go to the service desk and they would page mom 🙆♂️ Mom seemed unfazed but maybe I should ask, if she remembers.
