how to cook plain scrambled JustEgg?

@vegan

I’ve never cooked scrambled chicken eggs so telling me to do it like that is useless. Their website is terrible (on mobile at least) and search engines don’t work like they used to… I just want to know how long until it’s cooked, if I need to put oil in the pan, and is a spatula really necessary over a spoon? What’s this about flipping and curdling? I’m totally lost here. I’ve scrambled tofu before- is this the same?

    I’m afraid that non-stick cookware that can be but isn’t damaged still does damage. The forever chemicals hurt both humans and animals in the communities where they are manufactured, employed, and disposed of; and bits of the PFAS do end up in our food.
    Not that anyone asked.

      There are “non-stick” options out there that don’t involve PFAs, and still recommend using non-metal utensils so as to not scratch the surface to protect the “non-stick” nature. ceramics, that ‘hexclad’ stuff, etc…

      The root of non-stick is to provide a service that is as frictionless as possible. scratches in the surface ruin that effect, regardless of PFAs.

        @soben
        Thanks,–I hadn’t thought of ceramics.
        The Hexlcad site says, if you drill down far enough, that the “nonstick Japanese coating” contains PTFE.

          Yea, I don’t own hexclad, and given the hype I’m… not surprised that its misleading. It’s frustrating how capitalism misleads us like this.
