Oh yeah there’s an athlete with that name, too, I believe!

He’s only 10 years older than her. You can still think that’s creepy but he’s not “old enough to be her father” lol
IMO the age gap means nothing here, they’re both well-established in their careers and are very much equals. No weird power dynamic or anything.
I’m really hoping they add a bunch of shit to the taskbar in 6.7. Maybe the start menu can show some ads, too?? That would really help the users
Kat fuckin rules and I’m so excited to vote for her.
I only recently learned that she’s married to/dating Tim Onion.
AKA Ben Collins, CEO of Global Tetrahedron
Definitely written by an insufferable adult child and destroyed after they (themselves) took the picture
I’m embarassed on their behalf that they thought this cringy edgelord shit was worth doing
I approve because it’s OC

1·12 days agoI’m using all the default launch options for Steam and Battle.net (through Faugus Launcher), the only thing I’ve touched is Window Rules.
I was wrong when I said it worked for me - I forgot I still had Window Rules set for Terraria (the game that made me make this post). I just tried with BG3 and was unable to replicate it. Here is what I did, am I trying correctly?:
-
Set game to Borderless Window and disable VSync (tried it On as well, no change)
-
Alt+tab to other window. Meta+scroll up a bunch of times
-
Alt+tab to game. Meta+down once

1·13 days agoHow did you set scroll as a shortcut? I found the option but it doesn’t accept scrolling as an input
Either way, this has the same effect as Keep Below where ALL windows stay above the game. And still requires hiding the taskbar which I’m really trying to avoid - if for no other reason than it pops up any time my mouse gets near the bottom of the screen

1·13 days agoTurns out it was turned off by default. I tried it both ways to no avail.
I can alt+tab and the window shows up above the game (until I click back into the game) so it’s obviously capable of it. Windows also have no issues displaying above the game when I have the game set to Keep Below Others.
I have no technical knowledge on how this works but it seems like “Keep Above Others” isn’t actually moving it to the top layer.

1·13 days agoI will get that out tonight, thank you! I am more than willing to lose some FPS by comping the game.
I didn’t realize screen tearing was even enabled by default. Will I be limited on refresh rate? My display is 165hz

Useless replies being included in screenshots is my biggest meme pet peeve. The useless inclusion is probably from the person who took the screenshot…It’s advertising and people willfully spread it
I’m gonna start including DraftKings ads in memes
Why is beth in this screenshot

27·15 days ago10% market share is when I expect it to be impossible to ignore and I think we’re gonna get there fast like you alluded to.
But…mainly for games. The corporate crowd will stay on Windows because they benefit from propping up other corporations. PC/laptop manufacturers will still push Windows for the same reason
Your headline isn’t oniony but the original is, why did you change it?

1·20 days agoSmall correction: the A100, H100, and B200 all have PCIe configurations.
But as you said, no gaming. No directX and no HDMI output even
I feel that. I’m on the design side and have nothing to do with software…once my engineering package (drawings, hardware documentation, etc) is delivered, it’s on the shop to program and configure. I wouldn’t have known the firmware version even if this was a 2026 project!

Might have felt awful to write but it made me laugh out loud
I’m running Fedora and feel like a huge dork typing any KDE name in the start menu
