2·11 天前It will feel perfectly cool if you repeatedly transition from outdoors to indoors.
That being said, I’m a pragmatist and 78 inside feels a shitload better than 94 inside.
I think it probably isn’t a meme… And also I can’t imagine merging these flavors in any possible way that doesn’t just taste like a burp.

1·18 天前I’m a neovim guy myself, so mostly I’m in markdown. Most of the latex stuff is for document production and it’s easy as keeping a skeleton file with the includes set up on a letter heading. If I have something that NEEDS to be printed and markdown wont do it, I’m definitely using latex not libre. I’m not sure I can even use any kind of writing tool without vim bindings anymore anyway.

2·19 天前Ew no way. Best way to make document structure portable, or to move prose or visuals between contexts. It’s also exceptional if you want to automatically generate documentation with code or services that generate graphics.
ALSO you can version control it with git which is a good enough reason in and of itself unless you can use markdown for your purposes instead.

22·19 天前I don’t know why you think it’s a generational thing. There has always technical people that filled in the gaps that the more extroverted management types didn’t care about. How do you think things worked when millennials were still in diapers?
Uh… Unless you worked at the forefront of technology where more people probably WERE qualified, by and large these things worked on paper/transparencies I would presume. If PowerPoint and PDF were people, they are themselves millennials and gen z (ish) respectively.
Now, when millennials were about 10 you’ve got a decent point ;).

3·24 天前That’s nice. I’m ready to fight to win, personally.
Fight dirty. Pack every court, add seats, gerrymander the life out of every county and up, abuse every rule and gentleman’s agreement. It all ends when those things become enshrined in law. No more wringing hands and strongly worded letters. Sometimes the bully just needs a bitch slap to make the trip back to reality.

14·25 天前Nobody is freaking out who isn’t a moron.
There are a handful of arch users who eat crayons… if the windows users in 2026 leave any I mean.
I would absolutely make it this way with a roux to bake it. If I’m not baking it though you can for sure one pan it. Drain mostly cooked noodles, milk, butter, Velveeta, cream cheese, and a little bit of any other hard orange cheese you might have. Principally, this is I believe the main application for Velveeta besides queso and it’s the star of Mac and cheese on the stovetop.

2·26 天前That is a good question… Any recipe for homemade mayo I’ve ever seen includes mustard. A casual investigation makes it seem that mayonnaise originates from France or Spain to begin with (I guess it’s contested).
That said, I feel like in France all the mustard I have had is much punchier than what we have here in the States. Possible France has just added more and better mustard as a stabilizer?
I think it’s pretty much universal OUTSIDE of town to have this variety of address.
