I have been so very clear on this being about .ml and the admins in charge of it that it’s obvious you’re just posting a straw man.

You try so hard to make it less appealing by splitting discussions on posts by reposting stuff needlessly.

Then you spearhead some movement to try to get people to not donate to Lemmy development at all, making it harder for these people who are trying to make Lemmy their life’s work to be able to even survive.

Because they use the .ml instance and it’s influence as being associated as the “Official Dev Instance” to push their Tankie “ideology”, to include spreading dangerous misinformation and propaganda

They could solve it almost overnight by turning over .ml to a new as fair and unbiased as possible admin team. As was also brought up in those donations threads. In fact to paraphrase another user: “Devs should do dev work and not mod work and admins/mods should do mod work and not dev work”.

As was brought up in those threads, but it’s simply not good enough, it’s just paying for .ml with extra steps (e.g. through their pay/salary rather than directly funding hosting costs)

Oh yea I started donating all right…to PieFed (I don’t even have a PF account), .world and .cafe.

I won’t be giving a penny to them until I see some major changes in regards to .ml as so many people called for on every other version of the donation thread that wasn’t .ml

Well yea, but rolling it out slowly as people get “displaced” is how it would realistically get started IMO. It would be quite a taxing program for any country to just suddenly start

Are they really making the food worse, or are people just biased against it because a robot made it? Because humans are perfectly capable of making shit food themselves as well

In any case, in a world where 1st world countries actually took care of their citizens this would be a non-issue. Either there would be some sort of UBI program in place for workers that get replaced by robots or a worker re-training program or a combination of both (e.g. people still have an income during that training).

Honesty is an option. Go in with good faith, not like you have the truth. For example, “this publication says…how can I believe the publication’s refute? I don’t know what to believe because propaganda everywhere. How can I know this isn’t propaganda? Additional information please,” or something. Then take the time you spend in self-congratulatory mockery to follow up. I mean I honestly dk, I’ve said some really uninformed stuff over there and am somehow not banned.

Sometimes we just can’t always know what to believe and that’s okay. I usually just wait for more information, and sometimes that takes a really long time, or never comes.

.ml does not return that good faith, I don’t consider banning and censoring the opposing view to be welcoming good faith arguments:
