Four years of only 2-3 hours of sleep a night doesn’t sound sustainable. Is that 30-40k distance something you have to drive? If so, I think you’re gonna fall asleep at the wheel eventually.

Feed and water them regularly. Don’t let them die. If you can make them happy, that’s good too.
Probably the AI company that recently revealed that they just had people in India doing work their AI was supposedly doing.
If you measure your “look how much money I could have made!!” in “groceries” and not “how many years earlier can I retire”, I really think you should invest your money in something with less risk.
I don’t know your exact situation, and you said you’ve done a lot of reading and practice, but how strong is your willpower? Can you set a budget of money you can afford to lose without affecting your life, and stick to it NO MATTER what? If you are honest with yourself and know you would dip into your savings if you were “sure” you knew you were going to make a profit, then please unsubscribe from anything that brags about trading profits, and find your dopamine hits somewhere else. It is expensive to be poor in this country, and if you make one mistake and lose money you can’t afford to, you might never get out of that hole for the rest of your life.
But! If you can set a budget and stick to it no matter what, then I wish you the best of luck!!!
EDIT: I said “in this country” assuming you live in USA. Maybe you live somewhere else, but I’ll bet it’s expensive being poor in a lot of countries.
Well you see, one time an evil wizard cast a spell on the whole world…
For years I’ve read about scientists creating a bacteria that would live in our mouth and produce stuff that would kill cavity-causing bacteria, and how it was almost ready. If we nabbing scientists, I’m tempted to get one of them.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Have you ever had an experience you can't explain?
6·7 months agoTotally, I was at the beach, and this guy walked up…well, I say “walked” but he didn’t really use his legs all the way. And as she, wait did I say it was a guy?, well anyways they turned the thing on and it was SO LOUD and I swear, all the waiters dropped their watchamacallits. Wait, maybe it was at a restaurant? Hmmm…

Technology@lemmy.world•Revolutionary cooling technology emerges from SloveniaEnglish
10·7 months agoIt says the current tech is only 15% efficient vs current AC which is 20-30%, so no it would be more expensive to run. Since it doesn’t exist as a product yet, we can’t really compare initial installation costs, and probably not maintenance costs either. Hopefully they can improve on the efficiency, but there may be a theoretical maximum efficiency and I have no idea if that’s higher than 30% or not
I’ve got good news! The full quote is “Great minds think alike, but fools seldom differ.”
So it can still apply to you, it just means you’re calling OP a fool too 😄

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Could a vampire policemen enter my house if they had a warrant?
42·7 months agoCould vampires be turned down for the position because they physically are not able to carry out the job? Or would that be supernatural discrimination?
If you’re like me, when you were in high school, wasn’t it really important what grade someone was in? Like you’re a junior, you’re not going to hang out with some FRESHMAN, right?
But then, when you got to college, there was this sudden shift, and now it doesn’t really matter what year someone is in? I remember that feeling, like “oh, we’re all just college students, who cares if I started a year before someone else.”
If you can relate to that experience, feeling that shift of “oh, turns out that didn’t really matter” then I promise you have another one coming soon, when you get out of college and get a job and go “oh, who cares when someone graduated college, even if they started at the same time. We’re all just doing our thing now.”
I’d be happy if we had fake-looking 3d holograms that were huge and could operate out in the open air and daylight, with a high refresh rate, and were even able to surround a person.
EDIT: and didn’t make any unwanted noise, like a drone swarm.
